About Ross and the company.
A born tinkerer, self taught machinist, patent holder and
avid motorcyclist, Ross Harjes is the founder of Clocks4Bikes
and C4BMachine. Ross has endured several careers along the
way and has experience in long-haul trucking, publishing and
advertising. Looking to make a change to a simpler life, he
bought a CNC mill and lathe, put 'em in his barn, taught himself
how to use 'em and began making his clocks and thermometers
for bikes (since 2001).
In
true "Ross Fashion" he saw a niche for custom motorcycle
parts that work, look like they were made for the bike, are
easy to install and affordable. From day one, he made it his
obsession to give customers the best service possibly, like
they were family. You see, Ross is old school, and he still
believes that customer service is the reason to be in business.
It makes him proud to offer his designs that look great on bikes
and are functional and reasonably priced too. And he says, "
I promise to keep you happy for three years," referring
to his "No-Hassle (even if you lose it) warranty".
Now
you may have met Ross (or Ross the Boss) as he is affectionately
known by his family and friends, because he travels quite a
bit. Places like Austin, Myrtle Beach, Daytona, Sturgis and
up and down the Natchez Trace. If you ever do run into him,
chances are good he'll buy you a beer! If you think he's the
kind of guy you'd like to do business with, call him up. You
won't be disappointed.
Ross
lives in rural Madison County, Mississippi with his wife, son
and their 3 dogs and 2 cats. He has two daughters busy conquering
the world!
